When BC Group sold most of its industries in 2005, they saw a great business opportunity in luxury catamaran motor yachts. As a result, a few boat-loving families from Brazil entered into a partnership with Thierry Stump. Together, they began supplying capital and business expertise to the shipyard and receiving design and boatbuilding know-how from Thierry, who serves as the enterprise's chief engineer. Sunboats Catamarans is on track with an aggressive business plan. Besides participating boats shows around the world, the company has just recently completed its first hybrid catamaran SC 113.
